All I want for Christmas

December 12th, 2008

I don’t know about you but all I want for xmas is the wicked Sex in the city box set. Unfortunately I missed it when it was in the cinema. So I’m so looking forward to putting the kids to bed on xmas night and sitting back with my honey and enjoying Sex in the City

Are there any other Box sets anyone can recommend?

Is Gavin and Tracy any good?

This man is so funny. I bought his boxset and painfully cried with laughter all the way through each one and this is even better. He is sincere and is down to earth. It eventually killed my laughing ability temporarily after watching this for the first time, as he is so brilliant. Simple comedy turned into a giant emphatic show full of energy. I dont like his musical encores at the end but that doesn’t matter. I hope he carries on. Buy and be happy.

Santa Claus - The Movie

December 8th, 2008

Out of all the of the christmas films that I have seen over the years, this is the one that stands head and shoulders above the rest! Ok, the acting of the little lad that plays Joe leaves something to be desired, but if you put this aside and just watch the film for shear enjoyment and getting in that festive mood, then you too will get wrapped up in that magic tingly feelling that this film evokes.
I remember watching this film as a little girl and I still get the same feeling it gave when I was about 10. I have now bought it for my 2 year old and he justs loves it - its a fantastic way to introduce children to the magic of Santa, elves, reindeer and the magic of christmas if you just believe. Go on - give it a go - you will not be disappointed!

Lewis Hamilton’s finest hour

December 8th, 2008

Although some time has now past I’m still reeling from Lewis Hamilton’s sensational victory in this years final formula one championship race in Brazil.

Naturally you can only feel sorry for Massa - believing he had won for 30 secs only to realise Hamilton had held onto fifth position. Watch the action again right here.
